17th Annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women Time:
8:00 a,m. Location: L.A Memorial Coliseum Los Angeles, CA 90073
We will be partnering with the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept.'s team.

Holy Helping Hands in collaboration with other
organizations will host a Spring Party on Thursday, May 13, 2010 for the veterans at the West Los Angeles VA
Hospital. Activities for the day will include serving meals, dancing and playing games with our veterans.
Several volunteers are needed. We need food donations (deserts and salads). For additional information, go

The hours for the event (5:30 p.m.--8:30 p.m.). To sign up to volunteer at this wonderful event, call Ms. Rita
Hall at (800) 550-9137. Volunteers will set up, serve meals, play games and clean up. Teens wishing
to volunteer will receive documented volunteer hours for their school records. Join Holy Helping Hands and help us bring cheer to our veterans
who have served our nation. Hope to see you there!

June 2, 2010 (Wednesday) Holy Helping Hands will be partnering with NCNW and other volunteer organizationsto participate in
the Annual Patients Carnival at the VA Hospital in Westwood, CA. (405 freeway at Wilshire Blvd.) We will be assisting
the hospital staff to serve the veterans. We will also play games with them and give away prizes. If you would like to volunteer contact us at HolyHelpingHands@aol.com or (800) 550-9137.
Remember our troops. Please never forget to pray for the safety of our soldiers, the provision and comfort of their families in their
absence and the restoration of the morals and finances of our nation.

2010 Upcoming Events
Cinderella/Prince Charming Prom Project
We provided three students from Lancaster High School with the money to
purchase their prom bids.
Holy Helping Hands will be providing four (4) foster care high
school seniors with a $250.00 scholarship. We also assisted a single mom with the senior year expenses for her
child. If you would like to donate financially to assist with our youth programs, Holy Helping Hands is

Spring /Summer 2010 Potential Book Drive. We are in the preliminary stages of collecting childrens's books to share with
