2012 Holy Helping Hand Events March 2, 2012 Dr. Seuss Read Across America Longfellow Elementary School 1101 S. Dwight Ave. 8:30 a.m.--noon Compton, CA 90220 We will be spending the morning reading to grades K-5 for Dr. Seuss Day.		The Muzet H. Hall Foster Youth Scholarship Luncheon This is our inaugural scholarship luncheon. It is named after Mrs. Muzet H. Hall who was a childrens advocate for over 60 years. Mrs. Hall voluteered with Job Corp and both Central and Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall creating many innovative programs for youth. The proceeds from this luncheon will help deserving foster care youth to further their education. All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Mother's Day 2010 at the VA Hospital Date: May 3,2010 Time: 10:00 a.m.--2:00 p.m. Location: VA Hospital- West Los Angeles 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Bldg. 500 Los Angeles, CA 90073 The members of Holy Helping Hands and local hair stylists; and makeup artists Aileen Thomas. Virginia Hill will again go to the VA and host a Pre-Mother's Day pamper day for the female veterans. The ladies were treated to facials, manicures and hair treatments. Lunch will also provided.
